“C2 Ultimate and C2S” are the two new additions to the C2 series released by Hisense VIDAA. The best of these models is that they both feature 4K laser projectors boasting impressive brightness.

By exposing the best brightness, these two projectors compete with other brand projectors that are highly rated for their brightness level. The use of “Qualas 22 lasers” is the motive force behind the stunning visuals, which has an improvement of 20% compared to the Qualas 12 laser. Interstingly, these projectors are certified with IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Modes.
Outlining the Features of C2 Ultimate Edition and C2S
Picture quality is one of the noticeable points in these two C2 series. Both C2 Ultimate and C2S deliver images with lively colors, having a color gamut coverage of 110% BT.2020 and a contrast ratio of 1700:1. Furthermore, to elevate the viewing experience, the Hisense’s Xinghai large model supports “AI-PQ image quality platform.”
Moving to the other features, the new add-ons of the Hisense model, the C2 Ultimate Edition and C2S support AI dot matrix color grading, a DMD microsecond driver, 3D-LUT with AI color balancing, full-dimensional AI quality screen, local TMO color enhancement, and precise light control at 8.3 million pixel level.
One notable improvement from the C1 series is that the C2 series features an integrated gimbal for seamless 360° automatic correction, which takes a step ahead in the upgradation of projectors. Additionally, the MediaTek MT9679 processor is built into both the series for a smoother performance.
The VIDAA C2 and C2S later projectors offer a broad range of connectivity options, including USB 3.0 interfaces, Wi-Fi 6, HDMI 2.1, and Bluetooth 5.2. They also support music playback without the need for a screen. Besides these options, both projectors are equipped with the JUUI 7.2 operating system, offer far-field voice control capabilities, and come with a gallium nitride adapter for high efficiency.

Great article Ruben! Can you confirm what type of 3D these projectors will have, active or passive? Will the 3D format be the same for the U.S. versions??? I was waiting to get the C1 Pro in the U.S. but it’s seems it won’t be coming out here. Instead, we will get the C2, C2 Pro, and C2 Ultra.
