    • Check the Label: The foremost way to check the Hisense TV 4K compatibility is to look through the TV box. In the majority of boxes, 4K will be printed on the product’s name.
    • Check the User Manual: A user manual is an instruction guide that contains all the necessary details about the specific TV model. So, go through the Resolution section in the user manual to find out whether your TV supports 4K.
    • Visit Hisense’s Website: Navigate into Hisense’s website and enter your Hisense TV model number to get the necessary information about the TV.

Once you have confirmed whether your TV is 4K-supported, you can follow the below steps to turn on the 4K option on your respective smart TV models.

    Pre-Requisite

Generally, it is not possible to turn on the 4K Enhanced Format directly on some Hisense Smart TVs. In that case, you need to connect your TV to a 4K-supported external device using an HDMI cable and then switch the HDMI format to Enhanced.

    Hisense VIDAA TV

    • Turn on the Hisense VIDAA TV and tap the Settings wheel.
    • Select System from the left menu and scroll down to choose the HDMI & CEC/HDMI Format.
    • Then, hover to select the HDMI 2.0 Format on the next screen.
    • Tap on Enhanced Format and unlock the 4K option on your Hisense VIDAA TV.
Tap on the Enhanced Format option

Tip! If your Hisense VIDAA TV supports 4K HDR, then you can enable this option to get a clear and crisp picture quality. To enable this feature, navigate to Settings → Picture → Picture Mode Settings → Apply Picture Settings All Sources.

    Hisense Roku TV

Here are the steps to access the 4K resolution on your HDMI-connected Roku TV.

    • On the Roku home screen, scroll down and select Settings.
    • Then, choose the TV inputs option and select any device from the displayed active device list.
    • On the next screen, select HDMI mode and tap on HDMI 2.0.

    Hisense Fire TV

    • After powering up your Fire TV, hover over the Settings icon.
    • Using the remote, select the Display & Sounds tab.
    • Scroll down to choose Display → Video Resolution.

    Hisense XClass/Xumo TV

Like other TVs, Hisense XClass TVs also support 4K Enhanced Format. Once you connect a 4K-supported device to your TV’s HDCP 2.2 port, the XClass (Xumo) TV will automatically change the format to 4K.

Using the above-mentioned steps, you can enable the 4K format on any Hisense Smart TV in a few minutes. Upon enabling this option, you can stream content on your TV with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels.

    Why I Couldn’t Stream in 4K Quality?

There are various reasons why you couldn’t stream videos in 4K quality on your Hisense TV. The main reason might be the internet speed on your device. If the TV doesn’t get enough speed, then the streaming quality of the video will also be reduced. Secondly, if the video you are streaming doesn’t have 4K quality, it only streams up to its maximum quality and not in 4K.
