List of Picture Settings on Hisense TV for Calibration

As a Hisense user, you know that every Hisense TV is equipped with many picture settings. You can modify those settings according to your choice and make a notable difference in the content you’re watching.

In the section below, we have outlined the available picture settings for Hisense Smart TV in detail. Use them to calibrate your desired Hisense TV.

    Basic Settings

The basic settings include the SDR and HDR picture settings. These settings can be adjusted to maintain a balanced level of vibrancy in the images.

    • Standard and Natural: This mode suits viewing environments with moderate contrast, sharpness, and brightness. It also helps users reduce eye strain.
    • Dynamic and Vivid: This mode makes your visuals brighter and sharper with less color accuracy. However, this mode can maintain a cooler color temperature.
    • Theatre Night: Theatre mode on your TV amplifies the bass and treble of a specific audio track to bring a theatre-like experience.
    • Color Saturation: You can optimize the picture quality of the image by setting the color to 50 (middle).
    • Contrast: Setting the contrast level to 39 will bring up a bright picture with the best quality.
    • Tint: A setting on a TV that adjusts the balance between two chroma channels. Usually, this mode should be set to 0.
    • Brightness: Change the brightness level until you get a good image. An image with too much brightness may wash out unknowingly.
    • Backlight Level: Adjust the backlight level to specific viewing conditions so it doesn’t affect the picture quality.

    Gaming Settings

    • Enhanced Format: Setting up the game picture mode to the Enhanced format will lower the input lag between your gaming controller and the one that appears on the TV screen.
    • Instant Game Response: Set Auto to change the game response to the Game Picture Mode automatically.
    • For PC Gaming: Make sure to set the HDMI Enhanced Format to Enhanced Format for a low input lag.

    Motion Settings

    • Motion Interpolation: Set the motion enhancement to Custom to make the animation smoother and to reduce the motion blur.
    • Judder: Adjust the judder reduction to your preferences based on the content you are watching. If your cable box supports 720p or 1080i, you can set your cable box to 720p for a judder-free experience.

Hisense TV’s Advances Calibration Tips & Tricks

Unlike the high-end models, other Hisense low-end models don’t have the advanced options to adjust the brightness levels. In that case, you can use the calibration tools to carry out the process.

    • You can purchase calibration discs like a Spears & Munsil HD Benchmark from Amazon to provide test patterns and instructions for professional calibration.
    • If you’re not familiar with manual calibration, you can also hire a professional calibrator to adjust your TV’s picture settings.

By understanding and experimenting with the picture settings on your TV, you can get the most out of your Hisense Smart TV for calibration.
