By default, you will find a set of built-in apps like Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and others. However, if you want to access an app that is not pre-installed, Hisense TV gives you the option to add your desired app. All you need to do is search from the list of best Hisense TV apps and download them from the respective app stores.

3. Type the app’s name, select and hit the Install button.
4. Finally, the app will be downloaded to your Hisense Smart TV.
How to Install Apps on Hisense Roku TV
Hisense Roku TV has a Roku Channel Store where you can you install apps. The steps are as follows.
1. First, choose Streaming Channels on the Roku home screen.
2. Enter any app name in the search field of the Search Channels section.
3. Select the right app and visit the app info page.
4. Hit +Add Channel and press the OK option.
5. Upon installing the app, click Go to Channel and start using the app on the big screen.
How to Install Apps on Hisense Android TV
Hisense Android TV uses the Google Play Store as its primary app store. After connecting your Hisense TV with a stable WiFi network, you can follow the prompts below to download your favorite apps.
1. Head to the Android TV home screen and hit the Apps section.
2. Choose Google Play Store and use the search bar to enter the app name.
3. Upon selecting the relevant app, you shall hit Install.
4. Once the application has been installed, click Open to use it on your Android TV.
Tip! You can also update the app on your Hisense TV to stream the latest version of the content.
How to Install Apps on Hisense Google TV
Similar to Android TV, you can install apps from the Google Play Store on Hisense Google TV.
1. From the home page, tap on Search.
2. Type any app name in the required search box and pick the respective app.
3. Hit the Install button and let the app get added to your Hisense TV.
Tip! Even if some apps are unavailable on Google Playstore, you can easily sideload third-party apps using Downloader for TV.
How to Install Apps on Hisense Fire TV
Hisense Fire TV runs on Fire OS, which is based on Android, so most of the Play Store apps will also be available on the Amazon App Store.
1. On the Fire TV remote, press the Home button.
2. Highlight the Search/Find icon and input the app’s name.
3. Choose the required app and tap the Get/Download button to start the installation.
4. Once done with the process, hit Open to launch the app.
How to Install Apps on Hisense XClass/Xumo TV
Unlike other models, XClass (Xumo) doesn’t support installing apps, and this TV model doesn’t have a built-in app store. Hopefully, it comes with a certain set of pre-installed apps through which you can stream your favorite content.
How to Install Third-Party APK on Hisense TV
Hisense TVs that run on Fire, Android, and Google TV can sideload 3rd party apps by installing the Downloader app or using a USB flash drive. On the contrary, sideloading is not possible on Hisense Roku, VIDAA, and XClass/Xumo models. Follow the below prompts to sideload your favorite app.
Sideload Apps Using Downloader
1. Turn on your Hisense TV and install the Downloader app from the respective app store.
2. After that, open Settings open the Security option.
3. After that, choose the Unknown Sources option and enable the Downloader app. This allows your Hisense TV to sideload apps.
4. After that, open the Downloader app and paste the URL of the APK that you need to sideload.
5. Hit the Go button and follow the on-screen prompts to install the third-party apps on your Hisense Smart TV.
Sideload Apps Using USB Drive
1. Fetch a PC and connect a formatted USB flash drive to it.
2. Now, surf the web and install the APK file of the respective app on your PC.
3. Copy the APK file to the USB drive and eject it from your PC.
4. After that, plug in the USB drive to the USB port of your Hisense TV.
5. Finally, you can follow the on-screen prompts to sideload the APK and download apps on Hisense Smart TV.
There is No App Store on Hisense TV – Fixes
Sometimes, the Hisense TV app store isn’t visible for certain reasons. If that’s the case, here are possible solutions and alternatives to try when there is no app store on Hisense smart TV.
- Restart your Hisense TV to get the app store back to your home menu.
- Update the device’s firmware to remove technical bugs.
- If you’re using an old-model Hisense TV, the app store might be unavailable. So, attach a streaming device to the HDMI port and access its app store.
