How to Fix the Hisense TV Screen Color Problems

If your TV faces any of the screen colors, you can try the below walkarounds, which will get you out of the issue without dismantling the TV parts.

    Power Cycle your Hisense TV

The basic solution to fix the screen color problems is to restart your Hisense Smart TV. Simply pull out the power cable from the power socket and locate the physical button on your TV. Hit the Power button on your Hisense TV once and hold it for about 20 seconds. Then, release the Power button and reconnect the power cables correctly into the socket. Now, switch on the TV and check if the Hisense TV screen color issue is resolved. Otherwise, proceed with the next fix.

    Detach the Connected Cables

If you have connected any HDMI cables or other external cables to your TV, then the problem may also arise here. Any damage to the cables or the HDMI ports will cause the TV screen to change automatically, thus resulting in the screen color issue. Sometimes, a loosely connected HDMI cable may be a cause for the problem.

So, make sure to connect the cables firmly to the TV and check for damage with the HDMI port or cable. If there is any damage, change the cables to a different port and then inspect your TV screen.

Note: Ensure that you have changed the input on your Hisense TV to the necessary one to avoid the blue screen problem.

    Adjust the Picture Settings

The majority of Hisense Smart TVs will automatically change the picture settings according to the content you are streaming. Screen color problems are also one cause of wrongly configured picture settings. So, navigate through your TV Settings and choose the best picture settings for your Hisense TV to avoid screen color problems.

    Update the Hisense TV Firmware

Keeping the TV software up to date is an important factor in protecting your TV from certain problems. Outdated firmware can sometimes cause the Hisense TV screen to go green or yellow, resulting in temporary issues. So, make sure to connect your Hisense TV to a WiFi network and then update your TV to its latest version.

Once you have updated the Hisense TV, check whether the screen color problem has been resolved. If it persists, proceed to the next troubleshooting technique.

    Inspect the Hisense TV Backlight

The backlight issue is a common factor that may occur on the majority of Hisense Smart TVs. This is because the LED light gets damaged on the backlight, which results in a blue tint or other screen problems. Other common causes of the backlight issue are short circuits, inductor failure, LCD failure, and more. The only solution to this problem is to change the backlight on your Hisense TV.

As hard resetting your TV will delete all the stored data and files from your TV, you need to think twice before implementing this process.
